US invention patent process:

1. Submit the application:

The following documents are required when applying for a patent in the United States:

a. Priority information: priority date, priority sequence number, country/PCT number, and written search report. Please provide the PCT application document.

Items and priority information;

b. English names, addresses, and nationalities of the inventor and applicant;

c. English description (including description, drawings, claims, and abstract);

d. Requires the applicant/inventor to be a large, small, or micro entity.

2. Formal examination:After the review is passed, the USPTO will issue a formal notice of acceptance;

3. Publication:After the review is passed, it will be automatically published within 18 months from the filing date or the priority date, or published within 18 months from the filing date at the request of the applicant;

4. Substantive examination:A review opinion is usually issued within 12 to 18 months. If the application is rejected, the applicant must respond within 3 months of receiving the notice. The applicant may request an extension of the application period, up to a maximum of 3 months.

5. Grant:During the re-examination period, if some claims are patentable, authorization can be sought first, and unpatented items can be submitted as a Continuation Application (CA) to continue the debate with the examiner.

6. Patent registration procedures:If no grounds for rejection are found upon examination, a notice shall be issued;
